Dawn grew up in Kent. She has had a passion for music since a very young age and always knew that she would eventually work with Music.  

Dawn began recorder from the age of 7 and Flute from the age of 10. She has played a variety of instruments throughout the years including piano and saxophone with Flute as her main love. From a young age of 16 she became solo flautist in an adult band.

 

Throughout her working life she has moved to Surrey and Middlesex and found likeminded musicians in local bands or orchestras. In 2012, Dawn moved back to Deal after giving up a challenging career in the Home Office for a better family life with her young children and husband.

She was inspired with how Music has so many learning benefits for babies and young children. Which is when Little Jammers began in 2015.  Inspired by her peers and music Colleagues Dawn started her own baby and toddler classes with the help of Kindermusik International. 

 

Kindermusik is based on over 30 years of educational research and offers top quality programmes

for babies and children aged newborn to seven

 

During Classes parents and children are invited to explore musical learning experiences in an environment free from the pressures of performance.

Dawn works to create an environment in which both children and their parents can learn to love and create music together whilst building a bond that will last a lifetime.
