In my music classes for toddlers, babies, big kids, and families, we sing, dance, giggle, hop, travel on imaginative adventures, cuddle, play instruments, share ideas, read stories, celebrate the uniqueness of each child, and more! As a trained and licensed Kindermusik educator, I lead the class through music and movement activities with proven developmental benefits that include boosting early literacy and language abilities, social-emotional skills, cognitive development, and gives children many opportunities to practice fine- and gross-motor skills in a fun, loving community of families. Plus, throughout my Kindermusik classes, parents and children enjoy those special one-on-one moments bonding together.
Kindermusik isn’t just a weekly music class. The learning and memory-making last throughout the week. My music classes intentionally include resources for families to use together outside of class, including the music, story, and activities as well as the developmental insights behind them. I know that connecting the classroom learning to those “everyday” moments supports a parent’s role as a child’s first and best teacher. In addition, the repetition throughout the week strengthens the neural connections in a child’s brain and gives children more confidence in the classroom. (And, of course, it’s fun for the whole family!)

Our Age Appropriate Classes
Kindermusik Family
With older children ready to show the little ones how it's done and the younger ones eager to learn, Family Classes becomes a multi-layered learning environment. The whole family can listen to instruments and to each other, learn and explore together, and enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves and tumble-around play. Families with only one child are equally welcome at Family classes and can enjoy the benefits that a mixed-aged class can bring! From the story time and family jams and singing - all class activities encourage discovery and exploration and foster sharing and social skills too.
Cuddle and Bounce (newborn - 1yr)
Cuddle, bounce, and bop with your baby in Kindermusik's newest curriculum. Whether your baby is five weeks or five months, this class will be perfect for you! With age-appropriate activities for newborns, infants and crawlers, this parent-child music and movement class will help you strengthen those early parent-child bonds, understand your baby’s development, and heavily focus on child development and communication with your baby. You and your baby will enjoy instrument play, dance, exploration time, and together time—and you’ll get expert advice and parenting resources based on the most recent research in baby development.
Sing and Play (1yr - 2yrs)
Get ready to sing, play, and move with your little one in this high-energy music class designed to be just right for children under two years of age. This new Kindermusik curriculum focuses on your child's beginning movement, helping to build the muscles your baby needs to walk, and vocal development, helping to nurture your child’s speaking and singing voice. With a mix of both parent-child joint activities and child-focused activities, you’ll be able to join right in on all the singing and dancing while also getting the chance to observe how your older baby or toddler learns on her own. Embark on Kindermusik’s fun new exploration of singing, swaying, laughing, and playing through Sing & Play, a just-right mix of early-childhood vocal play and language development, together time, and music and movement activities!
Wiggle and Grow (2yrs -3+ yrs)
This music-filled class celebrates the unique joys of your growing child. Each week your child will love singing, dancing, and playing instruments with you and her new friends and you’ll love helping her practice a wide variety of abilities such as gross and fine motor skills, turn-taking, social skills, and active listening. In class, we’ll also share tips and ideas for using music throughout the week. Plus, the fun (and learning!) continue with the Kindermusik@Home digital home materials, including music from class, musical activities, and each month’s story.
Laugh and Learn 3yrs - 4yrs
Each week in class we combine your preschooler’s natural love of music, storytelling, and imaginative play with age-appropriate activities that introduce early music concepts and foster independence, social and emotional skills, language growth, and self-control. We also connect you with other parents who share in the wonder of parenting a preschooler. Parents join class for the final activities. The Kindermusik@Home digital home materials bring the music, activities, and each month’s story everywhere you go. The repetition enhances the learning—and the fun!
Move and Groove 4yrs - 5yrs
In this class, we engage your child in music and movement activities that also promote language, social and emotional skills, early maths and literacy, physical coordination, creativity, and more. Plus, your child will learn basic music vocabulary and notation vital skills for future school success and formal music lessons. As in Laugh & Learn, parents join the fun for the final activities. The Kindermusik@Home digital home materials extend the benefits all week long with music from class, activities for the whole family, and each month’s story. The class runs in 4 week units.
Young Child 5yrs - 7yrs
Young Child prepares the young child who is eager for first experiences with musical symbols and instrument discovery but is not yet ready for formal lessons and traditional music reading with an instrument. Using a small-group approach to music education,this class provides a pressure-free environment where your child can develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers. Parents are encouraged to attend the last 10-15 minutes of class. Run as a 15-week semester, this class comes complete with a physical home pack which can be used to continue the learning at home.
